Newsletter #015 - New prints, A new show in Korea and much more...

Updated: Dec 17, 2025

Good day to you all, my dearest #MadnessLovers! The week is almost over, and the month is just beginning, but things are moving forward with intent. Here’s a brief recap of what has happened and what’s on the horizon.

Exciting Changes on the Website

There have been some significant changes to the website. We now have a translated version in Japanese, and who knows? Maybe someday other languages will join the mix! There are also updates in the store. We’ve added new, selected quality prints that I’m really excited about.

As of now, all original illustrations will only be sold after direct contact with me. They won’t be available in the store, but their prices will be visible in the description of each image within the portfolio. Soon, more products will be available in the store, including a new line of crazy t-shirts featuring messages from yours truly. I’m also selecting stones for the next jewelry collection, ensuring a busy schedule for the holiday season.

Welcome to the Wolf's Art Den

For those who don’t know what the "Wolf's Art Den" is, let me explain. This is a creative space located in Takao, Kaga, Ishikawa, where I now reside. It’s a small school for those who wish to learn drawing and macramé. Soon, its doors will open to all you enthusiasts!

In the future, there will also be a program for students outside the region and even foreign students. This program will include accommodations and, at some point, it will open its doors to other creative minds and artists through a residency program. I created a little video to show how the space is evolving.

It’s looking pretty sharp, if I may say so! I’ve had some visitors come and enjoy the space. Many are eagerly waiting for the "grand opening" to join the courses available and become part of this project. I’m working hard on creating a dedicated space for the den within the website. It’s currently in the works, but in the meantime, you can follow the den on Instagram to stay updated on all the news regarding this creative space.

Upcoming Exhibition in South Korea

Next up! Starting this Monday, November 10th, I will be part of the "Woohyun Overseas Artist Exhibition" happening in Incheon, South Korea. I’ll be traveling to this beautiful country and capturing some pictures of the show to share on social media later. Unfortunately, I won’t arrive in time for the opening, but if you’re in the region, don’t hesitate to drop by and check out the wonderful art pieces my colleagues and I have selected for your visual pleasure.

This might just be my last show of the year, but it opens many opportunities for the years to come. As I try to reach further, I hope to have more shows in the Asian region next year. As always, I’ll keep you updated on these events and hope for your unconditional support as I continue down this road.

The Journey to GAIA 1

On another note, I’m currently working on the storyboard for GAIA 1. This is the follow-up to GAIA 0 (also known as "La Leyenda del Recordatorio de los Dioses"), and let me tell you, it’s big! So big that you can expect GAIA 1 to be divided into two books. This had already been foreseen, and it’s the case for all subsequent volumes. So, saying that the saga is big at this point would be a bit redundant, wouldn’t it?

It’s still unclear when I’ll begin the illustrations or whether the books will be published independently. Regardless, I want you to know that it remains one of my main priorities. Being such a long project, it’s expected to take a lot of time to achieve. But the best part? Nothing is stopping me from moving forward! As I work on this storyboard, I’m also revising and preparing to begin the polishing process for GAIA 2. I wish to not have too much time pass between volumes, unlike the 15 years it took between 0 and 1 (yeah, I know). Who knows? Maybe I’ll even share some snippets of the books in the future!

Sharing the Creative Process

Many new things are happening in the background. I may not talk much about my processes or show much regarding them, but I’m trying to change that. I want to allow myself to be more open to sharing unfinished works, sketches, and unpolished pieces. It’s a mindset I need to get into. Little by little, you’ll get to see and maybe even get involved with the madness in the making. To be honest, these newsletters are part of that process.

That’s all for Newsletter 015. Please share it with your friends and family. Have a wonderful week! Remember to join theFamily if you haven’t yet. To continue growing our community, we also have The Madness Broadcasted on Instagram, featuring exclusive interactions and first looks at what we have cooking.

Never forget to embrace #theMadness in you!

Irie Bless!
